Welcome to the Daikoku Pier Cruise Terminal!
We built this terminal to welcome the world’s largest cruise ships – those that truly need a spacious, modern port of call here in Yokohama. Opened in 2019, we’re designed to handle mega-ships up to 220,000 tons, offering streamlined Customs, Immigration, and Quarantine facilities to get you on your way quickly.
Getting to and from the Terminal:
Let’s be upfront: Daikoku Pier is located in an industrial harbor area, meaning direct access isn't as easy as some other ports. Here’s how we recommend getting around:
- Private Transfer/Taxi: This is the most convenient way to reach Yokohama city or Tokyo. We recommend pre-booking a car service – many offer English-speaking drivers and door-to-door service. Expect about a 30-minute drive to central Tokyo.
- By Car: If you’re driving, you can reach us via the Wangan Line of the Shuto Expressway, exiting at Daikoku Pier.
- Parking: We offer a paid parking lot for those wishing to leave their vehicles securely while enjoying their cruise.
- Public Transport: While possible, public transport directly to Daikoku Pier from Yokohama Station (Routes 107 or 109 to Skywalk-mae) isn’t the most efficient option given our location.
Exploring Yokohama:
Once you’ve made your way from the terminal, Yokohama has much to offer! The iconic Yokohama Red Brick Warehouse and the beautiful Sankeien Garden are popular destinations, but will require additional transportation to reach.
To make your arrival and departure as smooth as possible, we advise pre-planning your transportation from Daikoku Pier. We look forward to welcoming you to Yokohama!
