We understand getting settled in a new city can be a bit overwhelming, so we’ve put together some information about getting from Saskatoon John G. Diefenbaker International Airport (YXE) to where you need to be.

Getting Around From the Airport

• Public Transit: Saskatoon Transit offers two convenient bus routes directly to and from the airport. Buses run daily, even late into the night, providing a reliable and affordable option.
• Taxi Services: Metered taxis are readily available just outside the terminal. United Blueline Cabs is a dedicated airport service, and you can also pre-book a taxi for guaranteed transport.
• Ride-Sharing: Services like Uber and Lyft operate here, with designated pickup zones clearly marked outside the terminal building.
• Car Rental: Need a vehicle? We have counters for eight different rental brands – Dollar, Alamo, Avis, Budget, Enterprise, National, and Thrifty – conveniently located on the lower level of the terminal.
• Hotel & Limousine Services: Many local hotels offer complimentary airport shuttles. For a more luxurious experience, limousine services are also available.

Inside the Airport Terminal

Our airport is designed for ease and comfort. Everything is located within a single terminal, split between lower and upper levels.

• Arrivals & Check-In: You’ll find arrivals, check-in counters, baggage claim, security, and passport control on the lower level.
• Departures: Gates 1-9 are located on the upper level.
• Dining & Relaxation: We have a variety of dining options, including Tim Hortons, Starbucks, and the Refuel Restaurant and Lounge. Premium travelers can enjoy the exclusive Air Canada Maple Leaf Lounge.
• Essential Services: We offer free WiFi throughout the airport, along with banking/ATM services, a lost and found, wheelchair assistance, accessible restrooms, and designated parking for those with special needs.

Parking at the Airport

If you’re arranging a ride, or perhaps picking someone up, we offer a range of parking options: covered lots, uncovered lots, and a parkade all within easy walking distance of the terminal. We also have ample long-term parking available outside the terminal building.
