We have a convenient charging station located at Bolton Square Car Park, on Bolton Street in Drogheda. It’s equipped with a variety of connectors – CCS, CHAdeMO, and Type 2 – to suit most electric vehicles.

Getting Started is Easy:

• Download the ESB ecar connect app – it’s the simplest way to access our network. You can register and manage your account directly within the app.
• Alternatively, you can use an RFID card to activate the charger.
• We offer flexible options to suit your needs – choose from membership plans or a convenient Pay As You Go option, with contactless payment available through the app.

Charging Costs:

• At our Bolton Square location, you can expect to pay around 56 cents/kWh for Fast charging and 65 cents/kWh for Rapid charging.
• Rest assured, the energy we provide is 100% renewable!

Using the Station Upon Arrival:

• Once you’ve arrived in Drogheda, simply head to Bolton Square Car Park.
• Open the ESB ecar connect app or use your RFID card to begin your charging session.
• Select the appropriate connector for your vehicle and plug in.
• You can monitor your charging progress in real-time through the app.

Planning Your Journey:

• Before you arrive, or while on the road, use our interactive map (available through the app) to check the live status of chargers and plan your route.
