At Craigies Taxis, we’re proud to be Orkney’s largest and longest-serving taxi company! We’re here to get you where you need to go, with dependable, friendly, and flexible service.

Planning your journey with us is easy:

• Get in Touch: The quickest way to book a taxi is to give us a call. For urgent requests, calling is best as email responses might take a little longer.
• Email Us: For non-urgent bookings or any questions, feel free to send us an email.
• Pre-Book for Peace of Mind: Know when you’re arriving? Pre-booking, especially for flights or ferries, guarantees a vehicle will be waiting for you. This is particularly helpful during busy times or if you have specific needs like extra space or require an accessible vehicle.
• Visit Our Office: You can find us at 58 Junction Road, Kirkwall, but we always recommend a quick call beforehand to confirm availability.

We offer a range of services to suit your needs:

• Vehicle Variety: We have a fleet including standard cars, estates, hatchbacks, and even minibuses—with options up to 9 seats!
• Airport & Ferry Transfers: Need a lift from Kirkwall Airport or the ferry terminal? Just let us know your arrival details when you book.
• Explore Orkney: Discover the beauty of Orkney with our taxi and minibus tours! Our local drivers are happy to share their knowledge and act as your guides.
• Courier Services: We also provide courier services for freight travelling to and from the islands via air and ferry.

What you can expect with Craigies:

• Local Experts: Our drivers are experienced locals who are happy to offer recommendations on where to go, what to see, and how to make the most of your stay.
• Convenient Payment: We accept cash and card – please confirm your preferred method when booking. We also welcome account customers.
• Year-Round Service: We operate throughout the year, with extended hours available on weekends and late into the night.

For the best experience, especially when travelling during peak seasons, we highly encourage you to pre-book your taxi! We look forward to welcoming you to Orkney and getting you on your way.
