We're excited to be part of the future of transportation in Tokyo! Through our partnership with Go and Nihon Kotsu, we're deploying autonomous vehicles in select areas of the city.

Currently, our AI Taxis operate within the Minato, Shinjuku, Shibuya, Chiyoda, Chūō, Shinagawa, and Kōtō wards. These vehicles are driven by professional Nihon Kotsu drivers who are gathering valuable data as we work towards fully autonomous operation.

Here's how you can experience the convenience of our AI Taxis when you visit Tokyo:

• Download the Go app: Go is Japan’s leading ride-hailing platform and your gateway to requesting a ride.
• Request an AI Taxi: Within the app, select the option for an autonomous vehicle.
• Enjoy the ride: Our vehicles will navigate within the designated wards, providing a unique and modern transportation experience. A safety driver will be onboard to ensure a comfortable and secure journey.

Please note: Our services are currently focused on the mainland Tokyo wards. If you are arriving on Oshima Island, autonomous taxi service isn’t yet available there. You’ll need to utilize conventional transportation options to reach the city center.

Also, remember that fully driverless operation is still in development. While we’re making great strides, all rides currently include a trained driver. We're constantly innovating and look forward to bringing a fully autonomous experience to Tokyo soon! There are some smaller, experimental, very slow-speed AI taxis operating in limited locations, but these aren't intended for general city travel.
